Education and Training

During her university years, she was interested in finding optimum solutions to problems that could not be solved (NP Compete problems) with Artificial Intelligence. The representation of complex systems on paper in formulas and in automated simulation, their reactions to changes in factors, and optimization with known factors shaped her life after university. She worked as the assistant of the simulation course at the university.

  • Graduated from Boğaziçi University Industrial Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Information Systems at Stevens Institute of Technology in America (and worked as a Project Management assistant)
  • She went deep in her entrepreneurship interest by completing her certificate at Harvard Business School
Meet Eda Uzuncakara

She worked as a program manager and expert in technology departments of banks and technology companies in New York for 20+ years.

Her experience on Wall Street led her to jump to Main Street with Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, and she wanted to leverage her entrepreneurship skills and interest as well as her creativity. She opened a restaurant and bar in Manhattan. A forgotten corner turned into a destination point not just for locals but also tourists.. The walls of the venue hosted exhibitions, the venue hosted live music and author discussions.

With getting wiser as adding numbers to her age, personal experiences, and health problems, she realized that she could not define life with the factors she had previously determined, and that it was meaningless to put life on two planes and optimize it. She wanted to add the space, the unknown between the factors she was able to identify. That was the life she wanted to live with the unknown along with the known where she has room for her intuition, breathing and sharing as a curious human being.

In those years, creative writing, painting, dance, yoga and meditation came into her life. Enriched, expanded her life. Opened up to the deeper interest and practice and eventually training as a trainer so that she could guide people who are looking for a guide in their journey.
